I have always been a dreamer!! I got that from my dad! Moving to a small community to ranch with my husband and having 2 children was how this journey started. I guess you can say that Front Porch Interiors was born out of the necessity for many reasons, pure drive and the stubbornness to succeed!. I wanted to show this community that they did need me and what I had to offer even though they didn’t know it yet.
I started in the front of a greenhouse, moved to an old equipment building and in November of 2010 built the store I am located in right now. 407 Railway Ave, Wawota, Sask.
In the years I have been in business I have grown tremendously in many ways far beyond my square footage. I have been blessed to meet and become friends with some amazing and influential people in the furniture fashion and business industry whom I have learned amazing life lessons from. From my growth in size to the growth in furniture and design knowledge,that I enjoy sharing with my clients. I am proud of the path Front Porch Interiors is on and I look forward to many exciting things to come.

Shannon feels lucky to be in her OWN shoes! She is doing what she was truly born to do and loving every minute of it! She says she is so fortunate to work with some of her best friends everyday. If success is measured by experience and challenges, then she feels like a millionaire!
EDDIE MCBRIDE
A transplant from the USA (but born in Canada), Eddie is new to Wawota. He originally came up in June to help his parents look after his grandmother. He found Front Porch when Shannon was looking for help. And the rest, they say is history. Once the border opens his beautiful wife, Crystal (who is helping him wade through 1000s of lines of code), will be joining him in this amazing little town. He’s currently wading through 1000s of lines of code for the website.
PARKER WEATHERALD
Parker is our go-to delivery guy. He knows where to go. Always. To quote Parker – “I drive 90, because I’m paid by the hour…” Parker is the master of moving a sofa/sectional by himself, up hill in the winter.
VALERIE VAN DRESAR
No one can make inventory run as smooth as Val. She also caters our Design Nights. And let me tell you, she’s an amazing chef. She knows that the staff here run on chocolate, and she doesn’t disappoint.
